- Workability
- The opening of a conventional safety covers is small, making work difficult and producing the risk that the operator may strike his or her head on the top panel. On the other hand a machine shutter provides superior workability including ample work space for comfortable work, the ability to insert or remove workpieces from the top, and ease of maintenance.

- Because a machine shutter uses a shutter-type door, the door does not protrude to the outside.As a result, it can make effective use of small spaces and there is no risk of it interfering with passage, or of the operator striking his or her head on it during maintenance.

- Machine shutters are produced in a wide range of shape patterns, and a number of opening methods including vertical opening and side opening can be selected. Sizes are also available in 1 mm units, making it possible to provide safety covers that precisely meet customer needs.

Machine shutter next-generation safety covers feature shutter-type safety covers for the door parts. An aluminum machine shutter is lightweight and tough, providing superior safety. In addition to safety, a shutter-type door does not protrude to the outside and opens all the way to the top, for greater space savings and workability. Because transparent resin panels can be selected for the door, this improves visibility of the inside.

PRODUCT STORY
We developed our shutter-type safety covers
based on the idea of creating safety covers
that are easier for operators to use.
While double door types made of panels and aluminum frames are the most common type of equipment safety cover, they have many problems including being inconvenient to use and the fact that the doors get in the way when they are open. For this reason, we began development of a safety cover that would provide a large opening and would not require extra space for opening and closing. However because this was our first attempt at development in this field, we had to learn everything for ourselves.
We conducted repeated tests by setting the tolerances for the extruded aluminum material and carrying out in-house development of purpose-built equipment that had never been manufactured in the world before. We focused on smooth opening and closing, ease of use as a safety cover, and customization with a wide range of shapes and optional parts, and succeeded in completing a safety cover that delivers high functionality and convenient use. Customers who have used these products have told us, “This is the safety cover we always wanted!” Customers have also praised these products as safety covers which combine good appearance with functionality.

These are safety covers with folding doors at the opening. The door does not protrude as much as a double-door type when open, allowing it to be used in small spaces.

SLIDE SHUTTER
These are safety covers that open and close smoothly thanks to the sliding door at the opening. Because the door can be easily removed, it is possible to expand the working space and to open and close the door and the top at the same time.
